 | | | | Robert E. “Bob” Myher, age 63 of Hatfield and formerly of Black River Falls, died on Friday, August 7, 2009 in Gundersen Lutheran Medical Center. Robert Eugene Myher was born on January 1, 1946 in Black River Falls to Arthur O. and Lorraine (McPeak) Myher. He was raised in the Black River Falls area and attended local schools. Bob had been employed at the John Roberts Cranberry Marsh and Hizer Auto Salvage both of Black River Falls. He also had been employed at the Beloit Paper Mill for 8 years. He later was employed at D & S Manufacturing for over 30 years until retiring. Bob enjoyed hunting, fishing, repairing lawn mowers, tinkering with motors, working outside in his yard, and fixing homes. He was an excellent mechanic. He was first married to Betty Krpata and they have 3 children, Thomas (Alicia) Myher (his son, Brandon Myher), Tim (fiancé Mara) Myher (his children, Brooke and Tyler Myher), and Teresa (significant other, Jason Bush) Myher (her children, (twins)Kayla and Kylee Hansen, and Austin and Alexys Bush) all of Black River Falls. Bob and Betty were later divorced. He later married Che-Che Herman on August 4, 1998 in Melrose, and she has 2 children, Jason (Schatzi) Herman (his daughter, Stephanie Ann Herman) of Merrillan and Carrie Hensiak (her children, Teren and Dylan Hensiak) of Wausau. Other survivors include 4 sisters, Mary (Dennis) Jelinek, Vicki Myher, and Susan (Jamie) Wallace all of Black River Falls, and Carol Myher of Minnesota; 4 brothers, Gary Myher of Northfield, WI, Frederick (Diane) Myher of Eau Claire, Michael Myher of Black River Falls, and Alvin Myher of Cornell, WI. He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Lorraine Myher, and a brother, Kenneth Myher. A celebration of Bob’s life will be held on Saturday, August 29, 2009 starting at 2 P.M. at Bob and Che-Che’s home at W8302 County Road J (Hatfield), Merrillan, WI 54754. Family burial services will be held at a later date at Sullivan Cemetery in rural Black River Falls. Memorials to Che-Che Myher are preferred.
